Number of people migrating to Iceland 2008-2018, by gender

Considering the years from 2008 to 2018, more men than women immigrated to Iceland. The biggest difference between the genders was registered in 2017. This year, more than 62 percent of the immigrants were men. The numbers for both genders combined peaked in 2017, with 14,929 people immigrating to Iceland.
