Considering the years from 2005 to 2019, more men than women immigrated to Iceland. The biggest difference between the genders was registered in 2017. This year, more than 62 percent of the immigrants were men. The numbers for both genders combinedalso peaked in 2017, with 14,929 people immigrating to Iceland.
