In 2018, approximately 43.1 billion U.S. dollars worth of vehicles, their parts and accessories were imported into Mexico, up from 41.6 billion U.S. dollars a year earlier. This represents an increase of more than 28 percent in comparison to 2013, when vehicle imports in Mexico totaled some 33.4 billion U.S. dollars.
