Passenger vehicles export value in Colombia 2012-2020
Exports of passenger motor vehicles in Colombia have increased continuously in recent years, reaching 432 million U.S. dollars in 2019. This positive trend came to a halt in 2020, when the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industry cut down the country's export value by over half, down to some 183 million U.S. dollars. Exports shy in comparison to Colombian passenger car imports, which amounted to over 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
