Consideration of sustainability aspects when buying clothes in Sweden 2018, by store
In December 2018, 67 percent of exclusive store customers, 55 percent of second-hand store customers and 22 percent of low-price store customers considered the aspect of climate impacts when buying their last garment. Another important sustainability aspect seemed to be the working conditions for those who manufactured the raw material or garment, named by 41 percent of respondents buying in low-price stores and by 16 percent of respondents buying in second-hand stores.
