This statistic displays pet owners' monthly expenditure for pet care and pet supplies in Italy in 2019, by type of household. A glance at the graph reveals that the vast majority of Italian pet owners were willing to spend between 31 and 100 euros per month to care for their pet animal, regardless of the household type. However, one-person households were more likely to keep the expenditure for their pet animal below the 30-euro threshold. Instead, couples (with or without kids) were most likely to allocate between 51 and 100 euros per month for their pet animals.
