Forecast global consumption value distribution of rare earths by application 2018
The use of rare earths in magnet applications is forecast to account for around two thirds of the global consumption value of these elements by 2028. Ceramics and glass applications are also expected to account for a considerable, yet lower, share of the value of rare earths consumed worldwide in that year.
