Ecuador: religion affiliation share 2020, by type
Roman Catholic is the most common religion affiliation in Ecuador. In a survey carried out between October and December of 2020, almost 69 percent of Ecuadorian respondents claimed to be of catholic faith, whereas the second most chosen religion was Evangelism, with nearly 16 percent of the people interviewed when taking into account all branches. More than ten percent of respondents answered they didn't profess any religion at all, while 1.1 percent claimed to be atheists.
