In a survey of November 2019, 26 percent of respondents in Italy thought that the current government was not effective at all in the way it was handling migration. Furthermore, 37 percent of interviewees believed that the Italian government was moderately effective in the management of migration.
Similarly, another survey shows that in 2017, Italian respondents held a negative opinion towards the management of the migration in the country.
