Net profit/loss of Italian banking group Banco BPM 2016-2019

This graph presents the net profit/loss of Italian bank Banco BPM in the last four financial years. After reporting a net loss of 1.6 billion euros in 2016, Banco BPM registered a net profit of over 2.6 billion euros in the following year. However, the bank reported again a net loss of nearly 60 million euros in 2018. In 2019, the bank's profit amounted to 797 million euros.

Banco BPM S.p.A. is an Italian bank that started to operate on 1 January 2017, by the merger of Banco Popolare and Banca Popolare di Milano. Data for 2016 indicate the aggregate values of the two banks.
Banco BPM is the third largest retail and corporate banking conglomerate in Italy, behind Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit.
