Responsibility regarding online user data collection regulation in the U.S. 2019

According to a December 2019 survey of registered U.S. voters, 45 percent of respondents thought that federal agencies were most likely to be very responsible to ensure the regulation of companies that collect, store, and share their personal online user data. Only 40 percent of respondents stated that the president was very responsible for ensuring any kind of user data collection regulation.
