Wine production in the Netherlands 2013-2019

In 2019, the Netherlands is estimated to produce roughly 8,000 hectoliters of wine - a decrease in comparison to the previous year. In 2018, wine production in the country peaked at around 9,500 hectoliters, the highest volume reached in the surveyed period.

The Netherlands does not really have a tradition of wine production. The two largest wine producers in the country are Wijnhoeve de Colonjes (Groesbeek) and Wijndomein Sint Martinus (Vijlen), which both own around 13 hectares.
