Use of smartphone mobile banking for transferring money to family UK 2015-2019
Smartphone mobile banking apps have become more popular in recent years and many banks have launched apps to provide a more effortless experience to their customers. In a survey conducted among approximately two thousand active bank account owners who also use mobile phones regularly in the United Kingdom, approximately 27 percent used a mobile banking app to send money to friends and family. While mobile banking is a common way to transfer money, online banking and money transfer companies such as PayPal still hold first place.
