Argentina: SME retail sales growth 2020, by category

According to a survey among small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), retail sales in Argentina saw overall negative growth rates in January 2020, in comparison to the same month of the previous year. The category jewelry and watches suffered the biggest drop in retail sales that month, with a decrease of 9.5 percent. On the other hand, sales of furniture, decoration and home textiles only declined 0.4 percent. The sales channel with the highest decrease was physical stores.
