According to a survey on popular Toyota car models among intended car buyers during COVID-19 in Malaysia conducted from April to May 2020, 19 percent of respondents said that their favorite Toyota car model was Toyota Vios. In 2019, Toyota had a market share value of 9.5 percent in Malaysia.
