Children enrolled in preschool education in Russia 2015-2022
The number of Russian children enrolled in preschool institutions was measured at around seven million in 2022, marking a decrease from the previous year. In Russia, kindergartens or other organizations to prepare children for school are most commonly attended by children up until the age of six. The birth rate saw in the country decreased in 2020, after growing in the late 2000s and the early 2010s.
