Number of village schools in Russia 2010-2021, by ownership
Approximately 22.3 thousand public schools operated in rural areas of Russia at the beginning of the school year 2021/2022. The number of such educational establishments decreased over the period under consideration. The number of private rural schools remained the same as in the past year.
