Chile: fine wine exports value 2019, by varietal
In 2019, Chile exported close to 1.45 billion U.S. dollars worth of wine with designation of origin. Among the varietal wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, a widely consumed red wine, was the most exported kind, with a value of over 276 million dollars. The Chardonnay and the Carménère varietals followed, each type amounting to less than half of the Cabernet Sauvignon exported value.
