Chile: price of wine in the Maule region 2019, by variety
The Maule region in Chile, located in the center of the country, is known as a wine producing region. In September 2019, Merlot (a variety of red wine), and Chardonnay (a variety of white wine) recorded an average price of 425 Chilean pesos per liter in the region, making them the most expensive wine types within the varieties analyzed. Carménère followed, with its average price totaling 375 Chilean pesos per liter.
