Restaurant delivery growth due to COVID-19 Europe 2020

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused restaurants all over Europe to close for direct serving of customers, there was a noticeable increase in use of food delivery services. In Portugal, 23 percent of respondents used restaurant delivery more often than they did pre-pandemic. Meanwhile, Switzerland saw the highest share of first-time food delivery users, with nine percent.
