According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on the usage of dating apps in South Korea in February 2022, survey participants were asked why they do not use mobile dating apps. Around 45 percent of the respondents found it too superficial to use mobile dating apps. The second most chosen reason for not using dating apps, with a response rate of more than 33 percent, was that they were unromantic and they prefer to meet someone organically.
