Distribution of Hungarians by alcohol consumption habits 2019, by gender

Significant differences could be noticed between the alcohol consumption habits of Hungarian men and women, as in 2019, over nine percent of men were heavy drinkers while in case of women this figure reached only 1.5 percent. Furthermore, 39 percent of women never drank alcohol, but only 17 percent of men could say the same.
