Pharmaceutical production volume in Mexico 2021, by segment
As of August 2021, antibiotics accounted for around 55 percent of Mexico's pharmaceutical production volume. Meanwhile, analgesics concentrated nearly 20 percent of the production volume in the North American country. In 2020, the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector added more than 76.35 billion Mexican pesos to the country's economy.
