Latin America: tobacco harvested area 2019, by country
In 2019, the area harvested with tobacco in Brazil amounted to around 362 thousand hectares, yielding a tobacco output of some 770 thousand metric tons. This is nearly seven times the area estimated for Brazil's southern neighbor, Argentina, of 53.7 thousand hectares.
