Number of emigrants from Egypt 2020, by area of destination and gender
In 2020, cumulative Egyptian emigrants amounted to roughly 3.6 million. The vast majority constituted males, amounting to roughly 65 percent of the total emigrants. Moreover, the gap between females and males can be noticed in most areas, while Eastern and South-Eastern Asia was the only area with more Egyptian females than Egyptian males.
