Value of services export from Sub-Saharan Africa 2019, by type
Exports of services from Sub-Saharan Africa were mainly business services in 2019. That year, the region exported over 12 billion U.S. dollars of different types of business services, in addition to around 3.5 billion U.S. dollars of telecommunication, computer, and IT services, as well as 2.6 billion U.S. dollars of financial services. South Africa was the third main exporter of services on the African continent in the same year.
