In 2021, the best-selling comic book in France in terms of number of copies sold was Astérix et le Griffon, by Jean-Yves Ferri and Didier Conrad. This volume is the thirthy ninth story of the Astérix series, which has delighted readers of all ages for more than 60 years. The comic book Les aventures de Blake et Mortimer. Vol. 28 Le Dernier espadon, by Jean Van Hamme, Teun Berserik and Peter Van Dongen sold 211.211 copies that same year.
