Comics sales revenue in North America 2012-2021
The revenue from comic and graphic novel sales in North America reached 2.075 billion U.S. dollars in 2021, up significantly from the 1.28 billion U.S. dollars in 2020. Whilst the figure for 2020 was inevitably low due to the closure of brick-and-mortar stores, however the 2021 figure was also substantially higher than in 2019 pre-pandemic, indicating the rate at which comic and graphic novel sales are growing.
