In April of 2021, many individuals in the United States returned to dining in restaurants in comparison to earlier periods during the pandemic. Specifically, over 40 percent of U.S. consumers surveyed had gone to a sit-down or fast food restaurant that month. Back in March of 2020, approximately 50 percent of Americans reportedly had neither ordered food online nor gone to restaurants.
