Mexico: most purchased products due to COVID-19 2020

According to a survey carried out in Mexico in March 2020, 46 percent of respondents had bought more chlorine bleach than usual as a prevention measure against the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, 38 percent of respondents had purchased additional amounts of antibacterial gel due to the same reason. Toilet paper and liquid hand soap were also among the most sought-after goods, with 34 percent of respondents each.
