Ireland: most common forms of cyberbullying 2020, by age group
A study conducted in Ireland in October 2020 asked children and teenagers which of the most common forms of cyberbullying they had experienced. Overall, 72 percent of respondents in the 13 to 14 year age group who had been victims of online bullying said that they were sent nasty or hurtful messages, and 71 percent of those in the 15 to 17 year category said the same. Furthermore, nine percent of respondents who were aged nine to ten years old stated that nasty or harmful messages were passed around or posted where others could see.
