Preferred methods to send Lunar New Year's greetings in China 2022
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese government encouraged people to stay home during the Spring festival and send virtual greetings to their families instead of visiting them in person. According to a survey conducted in China in January 2022, almost 60 percent of respondents were going to send Chinese New Year's greetings to their families and friends via a voice call online. Online video calls were the second most preferred option among the respondents.
