Although it is of Argentinean origin, Mercado Libre's largest market is Brazil. In 2021, Brazil was responsible for more than 40 percent of the online marketplace's web traffic and most of the company's revenue. Meanwhile, Argentina and Mexico accounted for 22 percent and 20 percent, respectively, of web visits to Mercado Libre sites.
