Latin America: Mercado Libre app downloads 2020-2023

Over the period presented, the number of downloads of Mercado Libre's mobile app in Latin America reached a peak in July 2020. Amid the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers across the region made approximately 15 million downloads from Apple and Google Play stores. After a drop in the number of downloads as governments in the region lifted restrictions to contain the health crisis, demand for Mercado Libre's app picked up again in late 2021 and early 2022.
