Goods imports as a share of total imports in Nigeria 2021, by type
As of the fourth quarter of 2021, goods imported into Nigeria were mainly manufactured goods. The goods manufacturing sector accounted for more than half of the imports in that period. Moreover, petroleum products excluding crude oil represented around 29 percent of the imported goods, while the share for raw materials reached approximately nine percent.
