Regional sickness absence rates of NHS Midlands staff 2009-2022
The sickness absence rate of England's Midlands NHS staff stood over seven percent in January 2022. Since April 2009, the sickness absence rate of the NHS workforce in this region ranged from three to five percent. During the coronavirus pandemic, record highs of sickness absences among the NHS staff have been registered.
