Regional sickness absence rates of NHS London staff 2009-2022
The sickness absence rate of London's NHS staff stood at 4.77 percent in October 2022. Since April 2009, the sickness absence rate of the NHS workforce in London ranged from three to six percent. During the coronavirus pandemic, however, the sickness absence rates soared and notably reached a peak of over seven percent in April 2020.
