Disability: difficulties in accessing care in France 2022

In January 2022, two out of five people in France reported having encountered difficulties in accessing healthcare in recent years. When asked a year earlier, this proportion amounted to two thirds among people with disabilities. Similarly, only ten percent of people with disabilities had encountered absolutely no difficulties, compared to 22 percent of the general population.
In 2019, there were nearly six million people with disabilities in France.
