Breakdown of anti-Muslim incidents recorded in France 2021, by type
Among the 213 anti-Muslim incidents recorded by the Ministry of the Interior and the National Advisory Commission on Human Rights in France in 2021, 27.2 percent were anti-Muslim inscriptions. The next two most frequent types of aggression towards Muslims were threatening words and gestures (25.8 percent), and leaflets and letters (17.8 percent).
