According to a 2022 survey of Chinese internet users, around 63 percent of respondents said they purchased apparel when participating in live-streaming shopping events. Meanwhile, more than half of respondents stated that they bought cosmetics and personal care products on live commerce platforms.

The survey is a series of surveys. A total of 2,000 answers were collected from each survey. The first survey was conducted in December 2019, the second survey was conducted in December 2020, and the third survey was conducted in February 2022.
