Share of people reducing their shopping expenses in Czechia 2022, by category
In April 2022, almost 50 percent of Czechs reduced (or completely cut) their expenses in restaurants or bars. Many people also cut their fashion, candy, or culture-related spending. The share of Czechs doing so increased in September 2022. The most noticeable increase was registered in basic foodstuffs shopping (14 percent), while those cutting their fuel expenses increased by only one percent.
