In the first quarter of 2023, nine percent of visits to e-commerce websites in Germany came from social media referrals. Smartphones contributed the most, as 12 percent of their traffic to e-commerce sites came from social media links. Meanwhile, just one percent of all desktop computer visits originated from social media.
