Women business and the law index in Japan 2022, by indicator
In 2022, Japan scored 100 in the categories of pension, assets, mobility, and parenthood of the women, business, and the law index. This indicates that there were no legal constraints for women in terms of the size of pension, property and inheritance, freedom of movement, and work after having children. The women, business, and the law index measures differences between men in women in domestic laws and regulations with regards to economic opportunities.
