Main factors influencing Amazon Prime Day shopping in the U.S. 2023

In a 2023 survey carried out in the weeks preceding Amazon Prime Day, about seven in ten U.S. shoppers stated they would purchase products on sale, but only if they needed them. Recession still had a significant impact on purchase decision of consumers. Nearly one-third of U.S Prime users mentioned the worsened economic situation as a factor influencing their online shopping.
