Share of respondents who believe religion has a strong influence in Israel 2022
In a 2022 survey conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics in Israel, respondents answered a question about the influence of religion on life in the country. The data are presented according to the respondents' place of residence. In the city of Haifa, located in northern Israel, 81 percent of respondents believed that religion strongly influences life in the country. The cities of Netanya and Petah Tiqwa followed, with 80 and 77 percent of respondents respectively agreeing with this statement. In contrast, only 60 percent of those surveyed in Bnei Brak, a predominantly Orthodox Jewish city, agreed with the statement.
