Reasons to avoid user-generated content in Taiwan 2023
Trustworthiness is the key for gaining user attention in user-generated content (UGC) in Taiwan. According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Taiwan in August 2023, around 46 percent of respondents did not engage with UGC because they found the content not trustworthy. 30 percent of respondents considered relevancy important for them to interact with such content.
