In the Netherlands, approximately 50 percent of consumers had made Sinterklaas purchases in the previous year and also planned to buy related items in 2023. Only about 10 percent of Dutch shoppers surveyed bought something in 2022, but did not intend to buy anything for Saint Nicholas this year.
