Retail value of digital album sales in the United States from 2004 to 2019

In 2019, the value of digital music albums downloaded in the U.S. was 394.5 million U.S. dollars, down from 499.7 billion a year earlier. The year 2011 to 2015 saw the figure reach and remain above one billion U.S. dollars, but annual decreases of around 150 to 200 million per year for the last few years have seen the value drop back down to a similar level as in 2007.
