Households in the highest ten percent of the disposable income decile group in the United Kingdom (UK) spent 0.8 percent of their weekly household expenditure on cinema, theatre, museum and other similar cultural/entertainment venues in the financial year ending 2020, which was the highest among the income groups. In comparison, households in the lowest ten percent spent nearly just as much of their weekly expenditure on theatre and museums at 0.7 percent.
