Leading news websites UK by monthly visits 2023

In October 2023, the BBC had a total of 38.3 million monthly visits in the United Kingdom, according to the results of data designed to be nationally representative taken from 10 thousand people across 25 thousand devices measuring website and app usage. Mail Online followed with 24.9 million visits, followed by The Sun with 23.6 million. Digital native site Money Saving Expert also made the top 20 ranking with more than 13 million visits.

The source measures the unduplicated number of people who used a news brand’s websites and app. The data includes all traffic to the brand's site or app and not necessarily only news. Data is partly derived from a panel of 10,000 people aged 15 and over and is designed to be nationally representative. Participants have meters installed across 25,000 personal devices in order to passively measure usage of websites and apps.
