Share of women in behind-the-scenes roles in Hollywood 1998-2022
In 2022, 25 percent of the top 250 Hollywood movies had women credited as executive producers, a slight decrease in comparison to the previous year. The share of highest-grossing films with women acting as cinematographers stood at seven percent in 2022, while almost one-third (31 percent) of said movies had female producers.
